COMMON QUESTIONS

WHAT ARE YOUR WEEKEND SERVICES LIKE?

Each weekend at New Brighton Christian Assembly, you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting, contemporary worship music and a practical, relevant message. You’ll also find a printed outline for notes with your info page that will help you make the most of each week’s teaching. Children are well-ministered to in a safe and loving classroom during our fun-filled Jesus Junction and Champions Services.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I VISIT FOR THE FIRST TIME?

If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you! We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for a while—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you. If you would like to get to know us better, visit our Guest Area after service.

WHAT DO I WEAR TO ATTEND YOUR SERVICES?

You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our Weekend Services. Come in what is comfortable for you, because NBCA is not about what you look like or what you wear.

DO YOU HAVE A MIDWEEK SERVICE?

We have a family mid-week service which focuses on worship and Bible study. Jesus Junction, Champions, Powersource and Adults will find ways to connect with others in these small group settings.

WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?

At NBCA your children are a top priority. Our Nursery, Toddler and PreK classrooms are clean, safe, and staffed with loving workers. We also offer a dynamic ministry to our 1st—6th graders called Champions for Christ. If your children are in 7th—12th grade, we would love for them to join us for Powersource Youth Ministry each Wednesday.

HOW CAN I BE DISCIPLED AND GROW?

Our desire is to see you become a fully-devoted follower of Christ. Our Growth Track offers the tools necessary to make this happen in your life. You can begin the process by attending our CORE Class. These classes help to introduce you to NBCA and the ministries here.

HOW CAN I MEET OTHERS AND GET CONNECTED?

Life Groups are a great way to connect. These groups feature specific interests such as basketball, cycling, hunting, book studies, baking and much more! In each of these groups, you can build friendships, learn more about our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith.

WHY DO YOU HAVE SMALL GROUPS?

Small groups are an important part of NBCA; groups allow you to meet other members and develop relationships that will spur your relationship with God. As NBCA grows, groups allow us to “stay small” and connected. Groups are available for all ages and interests—there’s bound to be one that’s just right for you.

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED IN A SMALL GROUP?

One of the easiest things to do at NBCA is to participate in a small group. Groups provide a place for Bible study, fellowship, and support. Wherever you live, there’s a small group near you. Click here to join a group today!
